All of the resident animals were brought in from one shelter or another and we were unable to find them homes...so they have just stayed here.
The cats were all either pulled from high kill shelters or rescued from irresponsible owners....many we have had for over 6 years as nobody has been interested in adopting a adult cat.
The dogs have all been adopted from other rescue groups or pulled from Hurricane Katrina.
Our Hurricane Katrina pictures come from both the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, LA and from HumaneLA's Camp Katrina in Tylertown, MS. We have had many people contact us asking about one animal or another picture in those photo galleries and I am sad to say we have no knowledge of where those particular animals may be now.
