We are a completely volunteer rescue that works with the rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary of horses and companion animals. We have a very low overhead so all monies donated go directly to the care of the animals. We operate on donations (both from private individuals and from the occasional corporate sponsor) and money directly out of our own pockets. Our horses come from livestock sales, private owners, and sometimes from classified ads. Every horse and companion animal is given lots of individual attention and love before they are adopted out to their pre approved adoptive family.

We are also involved in rescue transport for animals who have been pulled from shelters to go into foster homes to await their very own "forever" home. We work with various other rescue groups throughout the state (especially the other VA equine rescues) to ensure that every animal leaving the shelter will have a home to go to.

We also provide temp/foster care and are currently working with the military foster programs for NetPets and the Feline Rescue Network for soldiers who are fighting for our great country.
