Limerick is a 25 year old QH gelding. Stands 14.3hh. He is a chestnut with a big blaze. He was a lesson horse for 17 years at Quantico Marine Corps Base Stables. He did all levels, until he got too old to do the "advanced" jumping. He has no navicular changes (unusual for a QH :-) Should be sound enough for pony rides or light riding. He would love to be a lap dog! He loves attention and is well behaved and quite comfortable around children. As far as a pasture situation, that's what he's in right now. He's out with my two weanlings, but they are out all the time. They only come into the barn to eat and in really bad weather, otherwise, all horses are outside-where they belong! Limerick has been in larger herd situations, and he's fine with mares, geldings, and stallions.
