My name is Charlie & I am a beautiful pitty boy who had the misfortune of having owners who didn't take good care of me. They put a collar on me as a puppy & chained me up but they never changed my collar as I grew up so it became embedded in my skin & it hurt me badly. Thankfully I was rescued by the animal control officers who took me to the vet and had the collar cut out of my skin. Then I was taken to the animal shelter where I waited to see if someone would want to add me to their family...sadly nobody was interested in me and my time ran out. That's when the people here at the rescue stepped up to give me a safe place to live until my family can find me.

I am good with adults but jump too much for young children & I seem to be good with only SOME other dogs (nothing smaller than I am at all). I walk great on my harness (I can't wear a collar yet) and I like to ride in the car. I am UTD on shots & I will be neutered prior to adoption.

All animals are housed in foster homes and we REQUIRE an appointment to visit with them (we all work full time jobs & do not have set hours of operation for the rescue). If you would like to set up an appointment to visit please email us!
