My name is Muriel and I am a beautiful Catahoula lady who had the misfortune to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and I had to suffer a horrible accident because of it. Someone was cruel enough to shoot me through my hind leg causing unrepairable damage and then leave me to die from my wounds.

Thankfully I was found by a caring person who called the local animal control to come get me and I was taken immediatly to a vet who began caring for me. Sadly animal control cannot afford treatment of this type and I was going to have to be euthanized. However the "boys" at animal control know that lady that runs Lost Fantasy is a big sucker for hard luck doggies like me and they called her at her job to find out if she would take financial responsibility for me (like she did Courage who was also shot only about 2 weeks before me). Of course she said she would and I became a Lost Fantasy doggie.

I had to have my leg removed but I am doing so good now you really wouldn't know that I didn't have all 4 of my legs when you watch me run and play with my foster buddies here at the rescue!

I was very very skinny when I was brought into rescue and I am slowly gaining my weight back... I have already been spayed and I am UTD on my shots.

I love people and I like to ride in the car. I also walk well on a leash... I would make a great addition to your home... will you adopt me?
