My name is Courage and I was picked up as a stray by the local pound. I was injured so they took me directly to the vets office where they found out I had a broken hind leg because I had been shot and the bullet shattered my leg :( Unfortunatly the pound cannot afford to treat extensive injuries like mine and there wasn't going to be anything they could do except have me put to sleep  :(

However I was very lucky because the lady who runs Lost Fantasy was at the pound the day I was picked up to pick up 2 more dogs who had run out of time and overheard the conversation with the vets office and immediatly offered to take "medical custody" of me and have my leg repaired! I was taken to her vets office where they put pins in my leg yesterday (9-10) and I am now recovering nicely!

I will be in foster care for 8 weeks or more while my leg heals and then I will be put up for adoption into my approved forever home. Please consider sponsoring me while I am here and helping the rescue pay off my vet bills.
