My name is Rocket and I was pulled from the local kill shelter when my time ran out. I was thrown out like trash by my former owners and had to survive any way that I could until I was caught by animal control and taken in to the pound. (At least I got fed every day while I was there...which is more than happened before).

The pound custodian knew the people that run Lost Fantasy have a big soft spot for hounds and called them as soon as I can in to let them know I was there so they would hopefully have room for me when my time ran out. Thankfully a space was made for me and I am safe now :)

I was very sick when I was in the pound (I have pneumonia) and my vet thinks I may have some neuroligic issues that the rescue is going to address just as soon as I get over my current illness. I am also super skinny...right now I only weigh 40 pounds so the rescue is working on getting my weight up to where it should be again.

I am a super sweet guy who loves the other dogs here and doesn't even mind those furry rats they call cats that share the house with me :) I walk great on a leash and love to ride in the car.

The lady here was told by a "friend" that I wasn't worth saving...that she should have picked a better dog to save instead of me. I am glad she didn't listen to them and she chose me. Now I have a chance to find my forever home when I will never be abandoned again.
