~~Bud is currently residing with some friends who are riding him for us for awhile to see what his abilities are as well as any undersaddle issues he may have~~

Bud needs an intermediate/advanced rider to make him the most he can be.

Bud is AQHA gelding with a DOB of 2-5-93 (owner surrender). Excellent bloodlines of Three Bars and Leo and a wonderful build to go with it. I do believe that this boy has the cow sense to do some light cattle work with some training.

Abuse in his past makes him somewhat fearful in new situations so he will need an experienced handler to work with him. Very mannerly under saddle and does well being trail ridden.

Adoption fee of $500 will apply

After working with Bud for the last few days it is very apparant that he enjoys attention and is low on the herd pecking order. We will be riding him as soon as the weather breaks and some of the mud dries up. Bud is a very sweet guy and would make someone a very wonderful companion.

Easy to handle, lead, load, catch, tie, and stands well for the farrier.
