Maybe came to us almost 5 years ago as the result of an estate liquidation. Her former owner not only starved her mother to death but allowed Maybe to founder on corn and refused to treat her.

When we took her in she was profoundly lame and was unable to do much beside shuffle around. Now she is sound enough to be ridden lightly as long as her feet are cared for on a regular basis.

Maybe is a beautiful mare with a very friendly nature especially considering the lack of human contact she has had throughout her lifetime prior to coming here. She has been ridden but knows little about leg pressure or direction changes and would need a dedicated rider to get her ready to be ridden often.

All medical and farrier work is UTD. Adoption fee of $100
