Choppa is a Plott Hound who is great with other dogs, especially ones of similar age & size who like to play fine with dog-savy cats, chickens, ducks, and mini pigs (never unsupervised) loves to go on hiking adventures and thrives on daily exercise, including playtime! Choppa would be perfect for an active person or family with teen(s) fine with having Dumbo ears. He sleeps in a crate, crated when no one is home loves peanut butter kongs, chew bones, and stuffed toys .

Choppa came to Floyd County, VA, after living on a chain. For 2.5 months, he has been learning how to be a dog. He has been working with a trainer (who has been awesome, donating her time and talent to help Choppa). He sits for meals, is learning other commands and to walk well on a leash. Human touch used to be unfamiliar and terrifying, but he now craves it and gives gentle hugs.
