I am a calm, sweet, and friendly guy who will gently  paw on you for pets and attention. I have done well with dogs my size and am very polite in play. I am a fairly laid back guy and like to nap on comfy blankets, cuddle with people, and go for strolls around the neighborhood.

I am fully potty trained and do not mind hanging out in my crate during the day when no one is home. I also sleep through the night with no issues! I am learning to be an inside dog, and am building my confidence in new situations. The first time I saw a TV, I  hid behind the couch shaking! But I'm becoming more relaxed as I am exposed to these things. I do still shows some stress in busy, loud, and unpredictable environments. I am also a flight risk! I will try to chase small animals that I see (squirrels/rabbits) and would run into the road or other unsafe areas to get to them. It would be very difficult to get me back if I were loose outside (if in a non-fenced area). My adopter will also have to be mindful of others coming and going in the house, as I will try to slip out and follow my Beagle nose wherever it takes me. However, I do walk nicely when on a leash and am working on “stay.” I am very food motivated and a be a fast learner!
